The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation briefed the French side on the new government's policies under Prime Minister Dr. Sha'i Muhsin al-Zindani, in light of the directives of His Excellency the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, reviewing the importance of focusing on economic reform, revenue mobilisation, improving basic services and strengthening institutional building.
For her part, the French ambassador affirmed that her country is one of the most keen on resuming IMF consultations with Yemen, noting that addressing this issue will open up broader prospects for French development financing.
