Minister of Planning discusses ways to strengthen joint coordination with the King Salman Centre for Relief and Charitable Works

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr Afrah Al-Zuba, today discussed ways to strengthen joint coordination with the Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, Dr Abdullah Al-Rabiah.

The meeting addressed the support provided by the Centre to Yemen in humanitarian and relief fields, and mechanisms for developing joint work to ensure that aid reaches beneficiaries in various governorates, in line with actual needs on the ground.

Minister Al-Zuba praised Saudi Arabia’s significant and ongoing support for the Yemeni people. She noted that the humanitarian, relief, health and food aid provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre reflects the depth of the fraternal ties between the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

The Minister of Planning outlined the new government’s priorities, emphasising the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Centre.

For his part, the General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre affirmed the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Centre, to continuing to provide all forms of humanitarian and relief support to Yemen, and to standing by the Yemeni people in facing the current challenges.
