Minister of Planning Participates in the 2026 Joint Annual Meetings of Arab Financial Institutions

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Afrah Al-Zuba, participated today, via video conference, in the 55th Joint Annual Meetings of Arab Financial Institutions for the year 2026.

The meetings, which included the participation of ministers, governors, deputy governors, and representatives of Arab financial institutions, featured sessions of the Board of Governors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the shareholders of the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation, the Board of Shareholders of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, and the Supervisory Board of the Bader Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Development.

During the meeting of the Board of Governors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Board of Directors' report on the Fund's activities and the financial report for the year ending December 31, 2025, were approved. The auditor for the fiscal year 2027 was appointed, and the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors were elected.

[04/05/2026 05:43] Dr. Afrah Al-Zuba chaired the 16th annual meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Bader Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, held as part of the 55th meeting of the Governors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and Arab financial institutions.

The meeting's agenda included approving the Bader Fund's 2025 annual report, adopting the external auditor's financial report and financial statements for the year ending 2025, appointing an external auditor for the Fund for the 2027 fiscal year, and approving the nomination of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board for the upcoming term.
