The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr Afrah Al-Zuba, today discussed with the leadership of the German-Yemeni Association, headed by Gudrun Ort, ways to strengthen prospects for cooperation in the fields of public diplomacy, cultural exchange and promoting Yemeni heritage, thereby contributing to presenting a balanced and positive image of Yemen and supporting recovery and development efforts.
During the meeting, attended by Yemen’s Ambassador to Germany, Lu’ay Al-Aryani, the Minister of Planning expressed her appreciation for the role played by the German-Yemeni Association in strengthening the bonds of friendship and understanding between the Yemeni and German peoples, commending its ongoing efforts to support community initiatives and cultural rapprochement.
Minister Al-Zuba emphasised the importance of continuing cooperation with the Association in implementing cultural and community initiatives that highlight Yemen’s cultural heritage and strengthen partnerships with German civil society organisations, thereby serving bilateral relations and supporting Yemen’s development path.
