Workshop on strengthening the linkages between climate action and food systems concludes

The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation today concluded a national workshop in the temporary capital, Aden, on strengthening the linkages between climate action and food systems in Yemen, in partnership with the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development.
Participants emphasised the importance of strengthening integration between climate action and food systems, and of unifying national efforts and partnerships with regional and international organisations and development partners, thereby contributing to the development of more sustainable and resilient food systems capable of withstanding climate change, achieving food security and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals in Yemen.
