She noted the importance of building human capacity, expanding training and qualification programmes, and strengthening institutional evaluation mechanisms to identify actual human and logistical resource needs, enabling the ministry to fully carry out its developmental role.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation reviewed the progress of work and tasks carried out by the ministry during previous periods, the challenges it faces and how to overcome them, and the available needs and capabilities. He emphasised the importance of integrating efforts between different departments and working according to priorities, which would enable the ministry to perform its role in supporting the country's development and reconstruction process.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister listened to the observations and proposals of the sectoral undersecretaries and general managers, who reviewed the most prominent challenges and technical and administrative needs, as well as ways to develop performance and improve the level of coordination and joint work within the Ministry.
